What to have ready when you call or text
- Year, model and trim of your Geo — and whether it has a push-button start.
- The VIN if you can get it: it’s on the registration and insurance card, and visible through the windshield on the driver’s side of the dashboard.
- How many working keys you still have (none, one, or two). A spare made from a working key is usually simpler than an all-keys-lost job.
- Proof of ownership: a photo ID plus the registration or title. We verify ownership before we cut or program any key.
- Where the vehicle is — home, work, a parking garage or a beach lot. We come to you.

Common questions
Can you make a Geo key if I lost all of my keys?
In many cases, yes. Tell us the year, model and VIN and we will confirm whether the key can be cut and programmed on-site for your Geo before we dispatch.
Do I have to go to the Geo dealer for a new key?
Not always. A mobile locksmith can often cut and program replacement keys at your location. Some newer or high-security systems can only be supplied by the dealer; if that applies to your vehicle, we will tell you upfront.
What do I need to prove I own the vehicle?
A photo ID plus the vehicle registration or title. We verify ownership before we cut or program any key.
Can you program a key fob I bought online?
Sometimes. Many online fobs are the wrong frequency or a used, locked unit. Send us a photo of the fob and your VIN before you buy, and we will tell you whether it can work.
